Using pastel after a mistake

Drawing before going to bed

I keep in my challenge. I know it is the worst drawing in some days. However it is no my war. I draw, I draw and I draw. The outcome is no the main goal. I want to draw and  this is my unique thought. If I judge my outcome I give up drawing because  drawing is not my gift. I will work hard every week and I will draw as I can do. I am currently very busy with many dutties and activities to do. I would draw more and more but I must walk step by step and continue rythm.

I try to draw every day. This is the drawing that I have done today. I am a little bit lazy thus I draw sketch only.

New challenge: A cat

I practise with birds as well.

I have tried to draw shapes. Placing every line in a right direction and proportions is my way in this moment. I search to learn properly drawing without seeing my paper as i just draw on the image. It could teach  me to guide my fingers without thinking what I am doing. I think it could be a good strategy.

Practice your errors

Take a risk

Sometimes it is time to take a risk. The confort zone is dangerous because  we feel confidence there.However I need to sail in other sea. The face was drawn horrible.

Don't repeat, draw

I always try to repeat each line. Nevertheless this is no right path. The way is to pull out the meaning of the image. If I take out the esence  I will create a good drawing. Take easy and interprete your view.If you want to be a authentic drawer you have to think of your drawing like experiment.It is the accuracy way to look to improve your drawing skills. If you draw thinking to make the best drawing you will be nervous and rigid and draw in either way which won't show your own soul.

It needs more shadows and lights. I don't see contrast and volume. It is a beginner's pastel. It hasn't grace. It is a bored drawing. I need technique and more experiments. I have to learn to finish with great details, which does the work succesful.
Necesita más luces y sombras. No se ve contraste ni volumen. Se nota que es un pastel de novato. Es un dibujo sin más. Necesita más técnica y más experimentos o más práctica.Tengo que aprender a culminar la obra con esos detalles que la hacen exitosa.

The type of paper is very important

I am not glad with this drawing because the vineyard is bad painting. The paper is a scholar sheet and sticks didn't spread well.I know this paper is not accuracy but it is cheaper and it is good to these practices. I have better paper;nevertheless, I am saving to use when I master this technique.
I drew at night and it was very late when I went to this outcome. I think i will good work in lanscape pastel in the future. It is a grateful painting.

No estoy contento con este dibujo porque las viñas están mal pintadas. El papel es una hoja de manualidades escolares y las barras de pastel no manchan bien. No es el papel adecuado. Aunque lo uso porque esto son practicas y no quiero gastar más dinero. Dibuje anoche y era muy tarde cuando llegué a este resultado.
Creo que el paisaje será un género que se me dará bien. Es un género muy agradecido.

Anatomy must go back.

I have realized I need to practice anatomy. Today I have wanted to draw some humane figures and they were disasters. I saw I have been drawing lines and shapes but  I don´t remember keys and certain places o point to guide my  pencil. I will return to draw muscles and  bones to fix part of them om my mind. This will be the better way to depict human figure faster and better.

I have tried to imitate her style. This is my version of it.

Conclusion: I need more colours, so more sticks.
One of the most agradable thing in this activity is visiting shop and get new supplies.

I have a lot to learn

I have left pastels for a while. I have tríed to practise a woman portrait and felt confuse about the path to walk. This side of the face is not in front of me and I have to think with different  measures and references. I have noticed I need to practise a lot. So just now I am going to draw another face.

Other attempt

Don't run if you can't walk.

Sometimes I have chose something absolutely hard to draw for me. It is an example. I have tried to draw a bird with pastel medium thus it was a great fail.
I have draw some birds in other articles and  I thought I knew the general shape of birds. However it wasn't right. I will draw more birds to catch their shapes and be able to depict without seeing. It will be a good challenge.

Trees

I want to depict wonderful views through landscapes. There are a lot elements on it. I will begin with the trees. The way is to understand the structure and the essence  of them. I have done these exercises to get it. The last one is this. I have to do more exercises.

Faces

I notice that I am not capable to draw faces in different sizes and position. I will practise many times this exercises to improve this ability. I have practise a lot regular head. I know the theory about relationships between different elements of the head. However, I don't master this type of drawing. The solution actually is practise again and again just so get it.

Still life 4: I am stuck

At the end I didn't find the solution. I have understood  shapes and light but I haven't dipicted it. Next time I will do more thumbnails. I have use white colour because it was totally imposible to show differents values with my sticks.I have only one of it. I think there is another way to paint this complex form. I have tryed to transform into simple structure but I notice i don't have enough technique. It will be a new challenge. I want to paint these roses well. I going to do it.
